Aniekan Bassey Willie
Born April 27, 1964 in Nung Obong, Ubium, Nsit Ubium Local Government Area.
Attended Apostolic Primary School Nung Obong and QIC Primary School, Usung Inyang, Eket between 1973 to 1978; Government Secondary School, Afaha Eket between 1979 to 1983.
Studied Accounting at Yaba College of Technology, Lagos (1998) and Business Management at Abia State University, Uturu, Abia State (2002).
Started his work career in Mobil Oil Nigeria plc, Lagos in June 1986 and transferred his service to Mobil Producing Nigeria in 2001. He progressed through various departments to become the first indigenous Global Security Advisor for ExxonMobil subsidiary companies in Nigeria in 2008, a position he held until his voluntary retirement in February 2012 to take up a role as Country Security Manager for Afren plc with responsibility for Nigeria and other West African countries.
He co-founded Mantra Protection Solutions Limited, an integrated industrial security solutions company, in August 2015 and is serving as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company. He is also the Executive Chairman of Aniekanabasi Nigeria Limited – owners of Aniekanabasi Transport Company.
He is a board Certified Protection Professional (CPP) member of American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS).
He is married with children.
